RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

In consideration of being permitted to participate in equestrian activities at Lone Tree Stables, 9621 Ramsdell Dr NE, Rockford, MI 49341, the undersigned acknowledges, agrees, and represents that they understand the nature of equestrian activities and that they are qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such activities.

The undersigned fully understands that: (a) equestrian activities involve risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, paralysis, and death; (b) these risks and dangers may be caused by the participant's own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the activity, the condition of the premises, or the condition of the equines; (c) there may be other risks and social and economic losses either not known or not readily foreseeable at this time.

In accordance with the Michigan Equine Activity Liability Act (MCL 691.1661 et seq.), an equine activity sponsor, equine professional, or other person is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in an equine activity resulting from an inherent risk of the equine activity.

WARNING: Under Michigan law, an equine activity sponsor is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to the Equine Activity Liability Act.

The undersigned assumes full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury, death, or property damage arising out of or related to equestrian activities at Lone Tree Stables, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Participants are responsible for any property damage exceeding $50 caused by their horse while on the premises.
